OTM Aaron Cunliffe Week 9

To kick the week off I finally completed the last of my annotations and was able to further review my visual work.
I felt relieved as anymore work I did from then on I could annotate as i progressed breaks tasks up nicely.
I felt my paint over collection was looking a little scarce and decided to produce a few more to demonstrate that i had given some creative input into the lay out of the rooms as well as their contents.
I decided to create some paint overs of the major rooms in my level and fill them with the props expected of such a room; on a cosmetic and practical level.
Doing this helped me visualize what needed to be in each room and what props I myself could be responsible for; without planning rooms ahead of time our ambitions could either be too big for each room or we would be left not really knowing how to fill rooms.

Once I had a small portfolio of paintovers complete I still felt my concepts were lacking in certain areas.
I regrettably had focused too much on certain assets and had left other assets ideation a bit thin.
I assumed leaving some of the more minor assets with limited ideation wold be sufficient in communicating my process however I couldn't help but feel this was a compromise.
I got to work reinforcing the weak links in my volume of work and after a few additions I felt I had done every prop justice.
After improving my asset development I felt I needed to create some final concepts for each asset to demonstrate the final product of all the iteration and designing I had done over the past 8 weeks.

After Completing final concepts for each of my major assets it was time to hand in all of my visual studies work from the entire course of the year, including my dichotomous character and any other work I had worked on over the course of year 2.
The hand in went relatively smoothly and I managed to hand in everything on time and in an organised manner.
Once visual studies was handed in I was left with completing the remainder of the game production and cleaning up any other remaining pieces of work.
